Nixon Kennedy debate, painted 1964 or thereabouts as part of a series of works based on news photographs, with some surreal byplay. Last shown in New York at Banning Gallery Tribeca 2003. With it, a painting from the same period of an unidentified diplomat, double breasted suit and white anklets…these paintings 3×4 feet approx. Nixon never looked so debonaire.
